The Process of Obtaining VAT Forms

  • Visit the VAT Ofce at either Ramstein Air Base or Kleber Kaserne.
  • Present your military ID and PCS Orders for verifcation.
  • You can obtain two types of VAT forms – NF1 for purchases up to €2,499.99 and NF2 for purchases of €2,500 or higher.
  • Be aware of the limit: up to 10 NF1 forms and one NF2 form at a time per household.

  • Present the VAT form at the time of purchase. It’s important to note that retrospective VAT extraction is not allowed.
